Beacon Farmers’ Market Presents 8th Annual SOUP4GREENS Fundraiser
Savor the Flavor, Support the Cause: Join Us for a Celebration of Local Food and Artisanal Craftsmanship!

Join us as we unite in celebration of community spirit, local farms, and businesses. The Beacon Farmers’ Market (BFM) is delighted to announce its highly anticipated 8th annual SOUP4GREENS fundraiser, slated for Sunday, April 7th from 10AM to 2PM. The event promises an array of savory soups generously donated by local restaurants, accompanied by pottery bowls contributed by talented local studios and potters, all available for sale. All funds raised support expanded access to fresh food.

By partaking in the SOUP4GREENS fundraiser, attendees not only indulge in culinary pleasures but also contribute to a noble cause. All proceeds from the event directly support the GREENS4GREENS food benefit program, fostering a community where fresh, healthy food is accessible to all.
GREENS4GREENS is a food benefit incentive program, started in 2016, that creates greater food access for shoppers at the Beacon Farmers’ Market. Eligible state funded food benefits are matched dollar for dollar through Greens4Greens, making the farmers’ market more accessible to a wider base of consumers. The program has been completely community funded through contributions made by local businesses as well as the annual SOUP4GREENS event.

The SOUP4GREENS fundraiser, hosted at the Beacon Farmers’ Market, will feature an assortment of soups, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, catering to diverse palates and dietary preferences. Customers will have the opportunity to savor hot soup on-site or opt for frozen pints or quarts to enjoy in the comfort of their homes. Patrons will also have the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic bowls generously donated by a myriad of talented Hudson Valley artists.

The event will also feature a live musical performance by Ian Moore on the fiddle, adding a harmonious backdrop to the festivities, as well as new BFM branded swag that you won’t want to miss. Come for a day of community and connection, all for a good cause.
