The daughter of Ernest and Barbara Paszinski Blake, she was born April 7, 1946 in Goshen.
Doreen owned and operated a daycare.
Survivors include her husband Elwood F. Gorton Jr. at home; son Gregory Gorton and wife Alison of Ballston Spa, daughter Victoria Pelella and husband Christopher of Wallkill; grandchildren Hannah Gorton, Alissa Cooney, Andrew Pelella, Dominic Pelella; sister Kathy Shields and sister Nancy Mitchell
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, May 8th, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 pm., at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden,
