Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County in collaboration with the Newburgh Armory Unity Center will be offering a free two-part gardening series entitled Seed to Supper – Gardening on a Budget. Participants will learn how to plan, plant and care for their garden as well has how to harvest and cook the vegetables that they grow. Classes will be held on Saturday, May 1st and Saturday, May 8th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Participants must attend both classes. Upon completion of the course participants will receive seeds, plants, and a few gardening tools! 

This program will be held outside at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center Community Garden located at 321 South William Street in Newburgh. Participants will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Classes will be taught in English. Printed materials will be available in Spanish. Registration is required.
