Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is an inflammatory disorder of the peripheral nerves outside the brain and spinal cord. Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) is a rare disorder of the peripheral nerves characterized by gradually increasing sensory loss and weakness associated with loss of reflexes. The Hudson Valley Support Group Chapter will be discussing various ways to cope, adjust and adapt to having GBS or CIDP. Call Bob Burton at 914-805-3714 for additional information.
