Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson (NLMH), a grassroots organization focused around immigration, housing, racial and economic justice throughout the Hudson Valley announced their endorsement of Anthony Grice, Democratic and Working Families Party candidate for Orange County Clerk.

“Anthony Grice is the bold leader that the people of Orange County need as their county clerk,” said Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson. “His deep roots in the community means that he not only understands the needs of regular people, but is committed to taking real action to better their lives. He is unwavering in the journey towards real equitable treatment for all, and we are proud to stand with him.”

“I am honored and humbled to have been endorsed by Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson,” Grice said. “I was proud to stand with them when they organized for municipal IDs in the City of Newburgh, as well as the Green Light Law, and I am inspired by their relentless efforts in ensuring we achieve racial, economic, housing and climate justice in our community. Together, we stand hand in hand ready to deliver fair, accessible, and efficient Clerk and Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) services to all residents across Orange County.”

Grice’s campaign platform includes expanding Clerk and Department of Motor Vehicle services, the implementation of satellite and mobile offices, a commitment to fair and equitable treatment for all members of our community, internet-accessible County Clerk and DMV services, and the full implementation of the New York Green Light Law.

He is seeking to replace retiring Orange County Clerk Annie Rabbitt and will face Deputy County Clerk Kelly Eskew in the general election.

Early voting for the General Election will begin on October 23, 2021 and run until October 31.

The last day to vote will be on Tuesday, November 2. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.
