Ice Cream Social

Celebrate summer in a style that harkens back to simpler times when friends and neighbors would gather on the village green for ice cream. Guests can choose from a selection of today’s flavors and sample some unusual flavors that were popular in 19th-century America. Celebrated violinist Gwen Laster and her quartet will perform an uplifting repertoire on the theme of “summertime and summer breezes.” Ms. Laster is a 2018 Puffin Foundation recipient and a 2018/19 Jubilation Foundation Teaching Artist Fellow. Thaddeus MacGregor—known for his musical toys and top hat—will also perform charming, period guitar music.
