Lavonne D. Ostrander, of Newburgh, entered into rest on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was 91.

Daughter of the late William Schuck, she was born on August 9, 1929 in Rochester, MN.

A longtime area resident, Lavonne was a retired bookkeeper for the Powelton Club where she worked for over 30 years. She had a great love for animals.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah A. (Allen) Monks of Walden and Roni M. (Brian) Redner of Wallkill; four grandchildren, Paul (Tara) Foti, Renee (Paul) Henry, Alex Redner and Rebecca (Steven Leo) Redner; four great grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Victoria, Olivia and Kate; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her former husband and father to her children, Jackson Ostrander in 2017, a brother, Lesslie Schuck and a sister, Elsie Hoguland.

Visitation will take place Monday, May 3, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at the White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh.

A Funeral Service will take place 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh,.
