Lillian M. Romano, 94, of Modena, passed away peacefully on Monday March 8, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born July 13, 1926 in New York City, New York she was the daughter of the late Constantine and Grace Napoli.
On April 18, 1948 she married Benjamin J. Romano in Brooklyn, NY.
Lillian was employed by the Admissions Department of SUNY New Paltz, New York as a clerk until her retirement in 1991.
Survivors include her children, David Romano and his wife, Betina of Raleigh, Stephen Romano and his wife, Jann of Modena, Rosemary Parker and her husband, Andy Hind of Modena, NY, Lee Ann Lacouette and her husband, Richard of Wallkill, NY, Richard Romano of Modena, NY and Michael Romano of Kerhonkson, NY; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Benjamin, Lillian was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Napoli; and her grandsons, Kyle Parker, and Andrew J. Hind III.
The family suggests that donations in Lillian’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Hospice of Hudson Valley.
