Meyers cites disregard for social distancing guidelines

Effective at 8am on Monday, March 30th, all New Windsor Parks will be closed to the public until further notice. Basketball rims have been removed and tennis courts have been locked. Supervisor Meyers has been forced to take this further action based on large groups of people not observing the social distancing guidelines set by New York State at our parks. New Windsor Police and Recreation Staff will monitor parks to enforce this closure.

Meyers cites disregard for social distancing guidelines

 Effective at 8am on Monday, March 30, all New Windsor Parks will be closed to the public until further notice. Basketball rims have been removed and tennis courts have been locked.

Supervisor George Meyers said he has been forced to take this further action based on large groups of people not observing the social distancing guidelines set by New York State at town parks.

New Windsor Police and Recreation Staff will monitor parks to enforce this closure.
