Newburgh Free Library virtually open 24/7

The Newburgh Free Library quickly responded to the COVID-19 crisis by increasing the number of free downloadable books - expanding its digital book collection by hundreds of new adult and youth titles in the first week. This demand for Overdrive and Libby collections of e-books and e-audiobooks came swiftly once everyone found themselves having to stay at home.

The library’s free film and TV streaming service, Hoopla, is wildly popular and available simply by registering on the library website with your library card.

With every stay at home extension, you are never at a loss for new things to learn and explore via the library website. Learn a new language with Rosetta Stone, research family genealogy with Ancestry.com, curb impulse buying with Consumer Reports.com – all freely accessed with your library card!

To speak with a staff person, please call 845-391-0672, or check out Newburgh Free Library social media and the website.
