"No People, No Trees: Four Artists and Abstraction"

Posted

Wired Gallery is pleased to announce the group exhibition No People, No Trees, Four Artists and Abstraction, featuring artists Kathy Erteman, Deborah Freedman, Lara Giordano, and Pat Travis Rosenberg, Curated by Ward Mintz. What connects their art is that they all create variations on abstraction. These are not artists who are interested in pure minimalism but artists who see abstraction through a variety of lenses: the forces of nature, textile fragments and memory, sacred geometry, bold texture and complex color. The four artists, while masters of their chosen media, also manage to engage the viewers’ eye and, as important, their intelligence and passion.
