Join Nick Martin, Park Educator, for this approximately three-mile hike through the old golf course and orchard of the former Minnewaska resort. Participants will walk short sections of the Lake Minnewaska, Castle Point and Upper Awosting Carriage Roads, in addition to the grassy pathways of the former golf course. While we wander, we will look for signs of plants waking up from their winter slumber and any recent bird arrivals. The pathways that wind through this area may be wet, so participants are encouraged to wear waterproof shoes or boots. Due to COVID protocols, the total number of participants for this program is limited to nine individuals. All participants must wear face coverings or keep a minimum six-foot distance away from others who are not part of their immediate household. Meet at the Minnewaska Visitor Center.
