Orange County’s Legionnaires convene in New Windsor

The Orange County American Legion held their annual dinner at Temple Hill Tavern on November 3.

American Legion Post 151 from Middletown Color Guard presented the colors. The Pledge of Allegiance was said followed by Singing of the National Anthem by Paul Oser Sr. Master of Ceremonies Edward Johnson welcomed: Department Commander Michael McDermott, Department President Linda Tome, Detachment Commander Dennis George.

Conrad W Flickenschild explained the POW/MIA table and what it means. Each guest had a fund for which gifts were received. Some included the Childrens Welfare Fund and Service Dog Fund.

After dinner the colors were retired and Paul Oser Sr and everyone joined in to sing God Bless America.
