Organ concert

On Sunday, March 24 at 2:30 pm, the West Point Class of 1936 Distinguished Organists Recital Series will present concert organist, Renée Ann Louprette, performing with Ivan Goff on the Irish pipes. This distinctive duet has performed in major venues in New York City and throughout the nation. Hailed by The New York Times as "splendid," and "one of New York's finest organists", Renée Anne Louprette performs widely as organ recitalist, accompanist, and teacher. Based near New York City, she has performed with many of the city's premiere ensembles, including the Mostly Mozart Orchestra and the New York Choral Society, and she has appeared in Carnegie, Avery Fisher, Alice Tully, and Merkin Halls. Her recording of J.S. Bach's "Great Eighteen Chorales" (on the Acis label) was named Critics' Choice 2014 by The New York Times. In February 2018, Acis released her new CD, Une Voix Française: A French Voice. Ms. Louprette is University Organist and Coordinator of the Organ Department at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.
