On behalf of the Bullville Fire Department, Joe Moore addressed the Board and attendees regarding the new fire house proposal. Moore stated the new structure would be located on the same property as the existing firehouse rather than the site across from St. Paul’s Catholic Church. After a few years of research, the goal is to recreate a fire house similar to one in Slate Hill with an approximately 3.5 million dollar budget. The current fire house has been in use since 1975 and does not meet the company’s needs for equipment storage. Public hearings will be scheduled in the future.
