Rondout Lighthouse Solar Boat Tour

Posted

Take a guided tour of the interior of the historic 1915 Rondout Lighthouse! The last of three separate lighthouses marking the entrance to Rondout Creek (Kingston, NY), the Rondout Lighthouse is still a working navigational light and one of only seven remaining lighthouses on the Hudson River.

Led by our experienced and knowledgeable tour guides, you will learn about the history of the lighthouse, its keepers, and tour the historic interior, including an optional climb all the way to the top of the tower and out onto the observational deck! Enjoy stunning views of the Hudson River, including the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge and, on a clear day, the Esopus Meadows Lighthouse.

The lighthouse is only accessible by boat from the Hudson River Maritime Museum in Kingston, NY.

To keep things COVID safe, only 6 people will be allowed inside the historic lighthouse at a time.
