On Saturday February 9, the Town of Shawangunk Democratic Committee joined their Democratic neighbors from Plattekill in endorsing Pat Ryan for Ulster County Executive. Due to Pat Ryan’s commitment to economic development in all parts of Ulster County, his history of executive leadership experience, and his proven ability to run a competitive campaign, the committee is excited to support him at the Ulster County Democratic Convention in Kingston on February 20.

On Tuesday, Deputy Ulster County Executive Marc Rider released a statement announcing that he is ending his campaign for Ulster County Executive and throwing his full support behind Pat Ryan for the position.
