On Saturday, July 8 registered Democrats in Shawangunk voted for two candidates to run on the Democratic line for Town Council people. Anthony Mantello and Adrienne Gelfand-Perine, both from the hamlet of Wallkill, will be on the ballot lines for both the Democrat and the Working Families Party.

“As there will be a change of supervisor, we hope that voters will see the benefit of electing people with new ideas to help existing residents with problems that have not been addressed for years,” said Gelfand-Perine.

“Furthermore, we hope to encourage our new residents to talk about what they would like to enhance Wallkill and Walker Valley.”
