City Manager Joseph P. Donat has declared a snow emergency in the City of Newburgh effective Saturday, November 30, at 6 pm. Snow Emergency parking regulations will be in effect until the Snow Emergency is lifted by the City Manager.
A snow emergency automatically goes into effect at any time there is a prediction of snow and/or ice of 2 ½ inches or more according to the National Weather Service at www.weather.gov/.
Broadway (both sides from West Street to the City line) Dupont Avenue
Lake Street Leroy Place
Little Britain Road (both sides, entire length)
North Street (both sides from Leroy Place to Robinson Avenue)
South Robinson Avenue South Street
South Water Street
Water Street (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, both sides, entire length)
Cars parked illegally during a snow emergency WILL BE TOWED. The public can find Snow Emergency updates in the following places:
