Space Force to land at Stewart?

New York Stewart International Airport has a runway big enough to accommodate the space shuttle and that may be a selling point for the new U.S. Space Force and its 15,382,100 billion budget to call Stewart it’s Orange County home.

Space Force also keeps track of space junk, and intercepts cyber attacks.
It was space satellites that gave early warnings about enemy rocket launches in the recent Iraqi war.

“Stewart is a perfect fit for the Air Force’s new Space Force,” says Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus. Stewart is also a perfect fit for the space shuttle and has a smaller runway.

“It’s got a huge runway system that accommodates the world’s largest aircraft,” adds Neuhaus.

Stewart also it has one of the longest runways in the East.

At least 25 current major air force installations are being considered for the permanent U.S. Space Force base.
