Though the season of giving has just passed, let’s continue to offer our help to others throughout the year. We ask for your support to assist our neighbors with donations to the Wallkill Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry. The Vision of Wallkill Association has partnered with this important community resource by leveraging its Facebook page and news announcements to help share updates about the pantry.
While the pantry has resources to provide food, non-food items are especially needed. Every month, we will publish a list of non-food items that the pantry needs, and we hope you will be able to donate some of these items. Check the stores’ sales flyers, their websites or apps for the best deals. Use your digital coupons. When you are shopping for your family, consider purchasing an extra item or 2, more if you can. Drop your donation off at the food pantry, which is behind the Wallkill Reformed Church at 45 Bridge Street, Wallkill, NY 12589. Items can be placed in the large bins outside of the pantry if no one is there. If easier, monetary donations payable to Wallkill Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry can be mailed to the address noted above.
January Focus Donations: laundry detergent (liquid or pods), hand soaps, hand sanitizers, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap and dishwasher detergent (liquid, powder or pods).
