Join the Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County Master Gardener Volunteers as they guide you through a step-by-step virtual demonstration on how to craft your own unique fall succulent pumpkin centerpiece. Create a perfect gift or a showpiece for your Thanksgiving table using succulents, acorns, moss, and other natural materials. With proper care, it will last for months and best part is no carving is required!

Please join Master Gardener Volunteers Michele Luisi and friends on Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 – 11:30 AM for this live Zoom workshop hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County. The October 24th Zoom session will begin with a demonstration. You will learn all about succulents and get tips on how to design and assemble your succulent pumpkin centerpiece. Attendees will then work together in small Zoom groups with a Master Gardener Volunteer to create their own beautiful centerpieces.

Participants can pick up the materials for this project on Wednesday, October 21st at Cornell Cooperative Extension in Middletown or at the Armory in Newburgh. Participants will need their own hot glue gun, glue, and sharp scissors. Alternate pickup dates at Cornell Cooperative Extension are available upon request.

Pre-registration is required prior to October 7th and the fee is $40 per attendee or $36 for Gardening in Orange County subscribers. To register, or for additional information, please go to www.cceorangecounty.org/events or call 845 344-1234.  Registration is limited to the first 15 participants. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email and a subsequent email with the Zoom link for the class and instructions for picking up materials.
