At the Montgomery Town Board meeting on April 15, Trish Murphy was announced as the town’s citizen of the month for April, as she helped ensure that senior citizens obtained the COVID-19 vaccine.

As director of the Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Murphy helped senior citizens make a vaccination appointment. She also printed out their tickets and made sure that each senior citizen got to the vaccination site. Murphy was honored to receive the award and is thankful she could assist the senior citizens.

“She’s a tremendous person and we’re very grateful for her and her commitment to our community during this pandemic,” said Town Supervisor Brian Maher.
