A man with a revolver robbed a Wendy’s restaurant on 441 Route 211 East in the Town of Wallkill on Saturday morning.

The masked robber approached the cashier with a gun and demanded money. After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the thief fled the store. Town of Wallkill police officer Brendan Smith responded to the report around 4:45 a.m.

The police described the man as a stocky, light skin black or Hispanic man who was between six feet and six-feet two-inches tall. The robber wore dark, paint-splattered overalls, a dark-colored ski mask and tan work boots.
