Kayla Miller of Gardiner was welcomed to the Class of 2024 at James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA. She will major in justice studies.

Approximately 840 two- and four-year degree candidates received diplomas from Alfred State College in May. Associate and baccalaureate degrees were awarded in fields of agriculture, health, business, vocational, and engineering technology, as well as the arts and sciences. The following were among the local students receiving degrees:
Alyssa Kelly of Wallkill received an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.
Ravneet Kaur of the Town of Wallkill received an Associates Degree in Science.
Stephanie Shultis of the Town of Wallkill received a degree in court reporting and captioning.

Dana M. Congelosi has been selected for inclusion on St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Spring 2020 semester. Congelosi is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in anthropology and history. Congelosi attended Wallkill Senior High School.

Rebecca Aurigemma, a member of the class of 2023 from Gardiner, has been named to the spring 2020 Dean’s List at Loyola University Maryland.

More than 1,000 students graduated from SUNY Oneonta. Students who completed the requirements for bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and certificates of advanced study were honored in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House.

Aubrey Scruggs of Montgomery - Bachelor of Science in Media Studies.

Several local students have graduated from Le Moyne College and have been named to the Spring 2020 Dean’s List. To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above. More than 700 members of the class of 2020 were eligible to graduate from Le Moyne.
Megan Ramdehal, of Middletown, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Jamie Alexander, of Bloomingburg, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Brendan Keegan of Middletown is entering Wilkes University as a member of its first-year class. A graduate of Pine Bush High School, Keegan will be a Business Administration major. Keegan is the recipient of a Dean Scholarship awarded by Wilkes. More than 500 students are entering the University as part of its first-year class.

Lindsey Medina of Newburgh is entering Wilkes University as a member of its first-year class. A graduate of Valley Central High School, Medina will be a Nursing major. Medina is the recipient of a Provost Scholarship awarded by Wilkes.
