The Town of Crawford announced that a public information meeting will be held to discuss the proposed design of sidewalks along NYS Route 302. The meeting will be held at Town Hall, 121 State Route 302, Pine Bush on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to present the proposed design for sidewalk reconstruction/construction along NYS Route 302 at Pine Bush High School and the Town of Crawford Government Center to Stock Market Road and to receive comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials and local agencies.

“It has a lot of sound logic,” said Town of Crawford Director of Safety and Security Dan McCann. “It’ll give people the chance to walk in the nice weather.”

The sidewalks would be funded by a federal grant of $764,029.48. The federal share would be $611,223.58 and the town would contribute $152,805.90.
