Employees at four Town of Montgomery establishments were charged with unlawfully dealing with a minor after serving alcohol to individuals under the age of 21 or individuals without identification.

An investigation on May 3 with the Town of Montgomery Police Department and New York State Liquor Authority into the sale of alcohol to underage individuals or individuals without identification targeted 26 establishments.

The investigation resulted in the arrests of four shop clerks at Scotts Corners Liquor and Wine, Shoprite, Walden Liquors and the Airport Inn. The subjects were released on appearance tickets.
