Gardiner Library to host Goddess Art Presentation

Gardiner Library hosts a slide presentation by Hana Maritz entitled “In the Footsteps of the Goddess, a Journey through Patriarchy to a New Human Consciousness” on Saturday June 15 from 1 to 2 p.m.. The presentation looks at the art and artifacts of matrifocal societies to see how our ancestors interpreted their world, and what that reveals about us.

Hana Maritz is a retired NYC high school art teacher, a working artist, a student of the Goddess, and award winning author of seven children’s books. She is also a Reiki master and shamanic practitioner.

The presentation will take place n the library community room, 133 Farmer’s Turnpike in Gardiner. The community room is equipped with T-coil technology for those with compatible hearing aids and cochlear implants.
