Halloween happenings in Montgomery

In addition to trick or treating, the Village of Montgomery is hosting several Halloween events.
The Montgomery Fire Department is sponsoring a Halloween Costume Parade Contest and Party on Saturday October 26, 4 pm line up on Clinton Street.

There are four separate age categories, covering ranges from newborn to age 16. Prizes will be awarded in each age category for most original, funniest, ugliest and prettiest costume.

Robert L. Williams, former Town of Montgomery historian will present a candlelight tour on Saturday, October 26 at 7 p.m. The tour starts at village hall, and includes the Borland House, City Winery, the Crabtree House and the Saint Mary’s Sanctuary. It will be a narrative of accounts of unexplained events.

Tickets are $5 and available at village hall.
