Trees for Tribs: Join the CAC to plant more trees along the Wallkill  River at Benedict Farm Park on Sunday,  Nov. 1 from 10 - 1:30.
Volunteers need to bring gloves and mallets or hammers and wear masks. The holes are already dug. Meet by the playground at 10  or follow the markers down the hill. Contact henighanpatricia@gmail.com

Need a ride ? The Senior Bus / Dial-A-Bus service phone is 457-2622.
The office hours are  9 a.m. to 5 p.m, scheduling hours: 9 a.m. - 12 noon, Monday through Friday.The Senior bus is for those individuals age 60 and over. 

The Village of Montgomery Museum has reopened. They will be following health guidelines.

 I just finished reading  “The Rural Diaries” by actress Hilarie Burton, the  true story of the adventures of her and her actor husband who leave the Hollywood lifestyle behind and moved to a farm in the Rhinebeck NY area. Now I am beginning “The Answer Is” by our favorite game show host, Alex Trebek. 

Both books were borrowed from The Montgomery Free Library. They are happy to announce that inter-library loans (books from other libraries)  are now available. You can go online to montgomerynylib.org.  Hours for curbside pick up only are : Monday thru Friday 10-12 and 1-4. 
Please call ahead and your book will be put either in the lobby on the porch depending on conditions. Book browsing  is back and will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m.. Monday thru Friday for 20 minute sessions with masks and only 2 people are allowed per session.
Appointment made by phone for browsing 457-5616. No internet or printing service available. 
Please bring  all returned books to  the book drop on the front porch. The fines for over due materials have been activated again.

The Montgomery Village Board Nov. 3 meeting has been canceled.
