Helping Hands relocates food box, restores little library

After tracking what food is being dropped off and taken at various locations – The Helping Hands of Wallkill will be making a few changes to the placement of the box at Elsie’s, as well as closing the little pantry at the Dubois House and returning it to it’s previous use as a “Little Library”. If you are looking for a good book to read, this one, along with the one on the main lawn of the library are available for your use.
Helping Hands has moved the box from Elsie’s, to in front of Spinnaker Management on Route 208 opposite the Sunoco gas station. All donations that are not expired are welcomed. Items collected will be also placed at the Town Hall location. Any excess will be donated to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry which is currently helping about 200 local families.
