Students signed the iPROMise pledge, promising to abstain from drinking alcohol or using drugs and to drive in a safe manner. The presentation was sponsored by the Pine Bush Students Against Destructive Decisions club, the Tri-County Community Partnership, the Crawford Police Department and Orange County Stop DWI. Marianne Angelillo of the New York Governor’s Traffic and Safety Commission spoke about the loss of her 17-year-old son, Matthew Angelillo in a car crash involving an intoxicated driver.
