On August 5, Crystal Run Healthcare’s Chief Support Operations Officer, Christine Wise-Vazquez, and Chief Human Resources Officer, Mary DeFreitas, presented the second of two 2020 Crystal Run Healthcare Scholarship’s to Pine Bush High School graduate, Jenna Fiorentino, in the amount of $3,000. This year marks the sixteenth consecutive year that Crystal Run has offered their healthcare scholarship administered by the Wallkill East Rotary Club to a local graduating senior. Including this year’s healthcare scholarship presented to Ms. Fiorentino, Crystal Run has donated over sixty thousand dollars to local high school graduates continuing their education in a healthcare related field.
A recent graduate of Pine Bush High School, Ms. Fiorentino will attend the City College of New York in New York, where she will be enrolled in the Sophie Davis Biomedical Program to become a doctor. Ms. Fiorentino was selected to receive this scholarship based on her desire to pursue a medical career, her involvement in the community, and her academic performance.
