Leslie R. Matles, age 69 of Maybrook, passed away on October 10, 2020 at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.
The son of the late Edward and Beatrice Alpert Matles, he was born on April 25, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY. Leslie owned and operated Joint 2 Jewelers in Montgomery, NY. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Denise Matles at home; son, Randy Matles and his wife, Janice of Walden; daughter, Rachel Santana and her husband, Angel of Walden; brother, Jeff Matles of Spring Valley; sister, Wendy Woda and her husband, Burt of Cresskill, NJ; granddaughter, Arielle; nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m.on Wednesday, October 14th at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St. Walden. Due to current health and occupancy restrictions, a wait-time may apply and the wearing of facemasks is required. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montgomery.
