Bi-monthly event Songwriter Circles by the Hudson Valley Music Collective (HVMC) will take place at the Gardiner Library on Wednesday September 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The event takes place on the third Wednesday every other month, open to all ages and levels with a $10 suggested donation.

Led by local musician, composer and teacher Michael Hollis, musicians will be given the chance to share with each other the successes and pitfalls of composing. No restrictions on genre and creators can learn from one another, hone their craft, and share new work. Each circle will end with a short set performed by a different guest artist of the night.
