The Town of Montgomery needs a unifying voice. Our community needs a hard working public servant who can work with any individual of any party or background. Over the past 10 years, Brian Maher has been serving his community. As Mayor of Walden he updated the Comprehensive Plan, made significant infrastructure improvements, and created innovative youth programs that have continued even after his tenure ended.

As Senator Larkin’s right-hand man, he learned from one of the most experienced public servants the Hudson Valley has ever seen. Those that interact with Brian see quickly he is involved for all the right reasons. He has the experience, passion, and vision our town needs as we update our own Comprehensive Plan, as well as address several major infrastructure improvements.

Brian Maher has shown us over the past decade that he has the ability and the experience we need. More recently, he has shown his commitment and tireless work ethic by personally knocking on thousands of doors to meet voters, ask them about their concerns and discuss how we can implement practical solutions.
