The Wallkill Woman’s Club will be hosting a “Meet the Candidates” evening. It will be held Wednesday, October 2, 7:30 p.m., at the Shawangunk Town Hall Community Room.

The public is invited to hear candidates for local office present their views on the elected positions they are seeking. This will not be a debate, but an opportunity to meet and hear the candidates address issues of importance to our community.

The following offices will be represented: town supervisor, town clerk, town board, town highway superintendent, town justice, and county legislator (districts 13, 14 and 16).
