Montgomery Little League’s senior baseball team qualified for the District 19 championship series this week with a 7-3 victory over Wallkill Area in Pine Bush in the A bracket title game Sunday.

Pine Bush started the playoffs with a 22-0 victory over New Windsor Friday. Pine Bush lost to Wallkill Area Saturday 5-2 before coming back to beat Monroe-Woodbury, Sunday 15-5.

Pine Bush plays Wallkill Area this week as both teams work through the loser’s bracket for a chance to play in the championship series later this week.
