Pizza box stickers to carry powerful message

Posted

Tri-County Community Partnership Inc. (TCCP) is a local non-profit whose mission is to educate the community regarding the effects of alcohol, marijuana, and drug use, especially among youth.

For the fourth year in a row, TCCP is partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings-Middletown and eight local pizzerias (Siena’s, Pizza Plus, Tosco’s, Pecorino’s, Grand Slam, Villa Gaudio, Cobblestone Deli, and Pudgy’s) to distribute nearly 4,000 stickers over Super Bowl weekend. Messaging that contains statistics about alcohol, vaping, and marijuana use among youth is printed on the stickers along with the suggestion for a conversation to take place. The stickers are placed on to-go orders of pizza and chicken wings over the course of the weekend. Some students from Pine Bush High School are involved in the distribution of the stickers.
