Born on September 5, 1938 in Modena, NY he was the son of the late Lester and Isabelle (Denton) Wager, Sr

Ronald became co-owner of Sonny's Garage, which was the family business for many years. He also worked on the Thruway, where he influenced many young lives.

Described by his loving wife, Patricia, he was the sweetest man alive. He liked to work in the yard using his hands and expertise building a deck for their home, flower beds and furniture. He was a lifetime member of the Modena Volunteer Fire Department. Known to be a prankster, he liked to tease, take everyone’s food and lighten the mood with his jokes. He was boisterous and fun loving and adored his family-especially delighting in his grandchildren. He found something special to share with each of them.
