Rotary supports PB Interact Club with pancake breakfast

Posted

The Wallkill East Rotary held their annual community pancake breakfast in the Town of Crawford Community Center this past Sunday.

The event appeared to be run seamlessly with great support from attendees. Many enjoyed a full plate of pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage with coffee, tea, or juice, while sitting with friends, family, and neighbors. Guests were served by the Pine Bush High School Interact Club.

Interact President, Macen Del Lesio explains, “We are a community service group open to high school students. We are sponsored by the Rotary, including Dr. William Basset and our advisor is math teacher, Christina Tudisco. We have weekly meetings which include team building and volunteer topics and have about 35 members right now. As a senior, this is my fourth year, and I was also vice-president last year. I have made a lot of great memories while learning and participating in many activities. One of our upcoming events is the East Egg Hunt so watch for more information.”
