The Town of Shawangunk Democratic Committee is hosting a fundraiser dinner on October 22 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. to present the local candidates running for office.
Pat Ryan, the incumbent running for County Executive, will speak about his plans for the County and the slate of candidates running this November. Introducing themselves will be David Clegg, running for District Attorney, March Gallagher running for Controller, Tracy Bartels and Andrew Domenech running for County Legislature, and Charles Beach running for Shawangunk Town Board. Sheriff Juan Figueroa will also be present. The speeches will conclude with a question/answer session.
Make advance reservations no later than October 15 by sending a check for $30 per person to: Town of Shawangunk Democrats, PO Box 135, Wallkill, NY, 12589. Reservations after October 15 or at the door are $35 per person. There will be a cash bar, in addition to dinner.
The event will take place at Elsie’s Restaurant in Wallkill at the juncture of Rtes. 300 and 208, across from the old Borden Farm.
