Toys for Tots Train returns to Montgomery

The 8th Annual Toys for Tots train makes its annual run through the Wallkill Valley on Sunday, December 1, collecting toys and making stops along the way.

The train will stop between 2:55 and 3:40 p.m. at the Rowley Lumber Parking Lot, Railroad Avenue in the village, after prior stops in Middletown and at the caboose museum in Campbell Hall.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy and meet members of the Marine Corps. All toys collected will go to the U.S. Marine Corp. Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation for distribution.

Music provided by DJ Eric.

There will be food vendors and refreshments.

Each year, the train collects over 25,000 donated toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation, which redistributes them to underprivileged children within the collection area.
