It’s time for the annual Sparkle & Shine Holiday Decorating Contest. Bring out the strands of lights and outdoor decorations. Gather the family and ladders to decorate your little piece of our community and make Wallkill sparkle and shine this holiday season. This is a fun activity that can be done safely with everyone in your family. Post pictures of your decorations (include your address) to our Facebook page by December 8.  Winners will be announced by December 15.
The annual Town of Shawangunk Tree Lighting will have a new twist this year.  Mark your calendars for Sunday December 6. With the help of the Vision of Wallkill, Santa will be handing out nut free treats for children in a drive thru event near the Shawangunk Town Hall, from 4 – 5 p.m. The bag of treats will be packed by volunteers wearing masks and gloves to ensure the safety of everyone in our community. Children are encouraged to bring their Letter to Santa.  Be sure to include your child’s name and mailing address on the letter.
