We understand the challenges that many of you are facing at this difficult time. We, too, are a small, locally-owned business facing enormous challenges at an extremely difficult time. Now, more than ever, we must do what is right for our staff, our customers, our loyal readers and our extended family in Southern Ulster County.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has determined that the media, among many other businesses, provides an essential service during this challenging time. To that end, we are at work seven days a week gathering news for our weekly newspapers in an effort to keep our online editions as up-to-date as possible with breaking news on a fast-moving story. We have taken steps to insure the well-being of our staff as we continue to gather the news.
