The Newburgh City Council will be looking to fill vacancies and reappoint members on the City of Newburgh’s Arts & Cultural Commission. The agenda for the city council meeting on Tuesday, May 28 did not list the item for vote. The appointments were not discussed during the public portion of the May 23 work session but were moved to executive session.
As per the city website, the commission is currently composed of Chairperson Erica Forneret and members Kathryn McKenzie, Jason Otero, Michelle Roach, Stuart Sachs, Stefanie Singer, Penelope Taylor and Joy Zelada. There are seven listed vacancies on the commission.
The list of appointments and vacancy fills include Michael Ballezza, Gary Castelli, Milli Encarnacion, Jonathan Hamilt, Nasihah Jones, Debra Lamb, Silvia Mantilla Ortiz, Patricia C. Phillips, Duane Rutter, Stuart Sachs, Kyle Vincent Terry and Kathleen Wright.
