Mr. Wilson, a two time Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama, was most recognized for his series of 10 plays known as the Pittsburgh Cycle. Radio Golf was not only the last of the series, but his final play.

In “Radio Golf,” a trio of politically savvy, ambitious black real-estate entrepreneurs, Harmond Wilks, his wife Mame Wilks and their partner Roosevelt Hicks are trying to knock down “a raggedy old house” so they can bring economic development to the Hill via a Whole Foods and a Starbucks. When it's discovered the house was obtained illegally, a decision must be made to preserve, or plow on through for the sake of "progress."

This play is directed by Susan Watson Turner and features performers Errol Greaves, Drusilla Kinzonzi, Kevin Allen, Jeffrey L. Starr and Rodney Sherman. Victoria Cottone serves as Technical Director.

This production is made possible by a sponsorship from Henry and Deb Gitner

August Wilson's Radio Golf is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
