Dirt bikes and other All-terrain vehicles are running rampant throughout the City of Newburgh.

At least that’s the few of several city council members who wondered aloud, Monday night, what could be done about them.

Councilman Bob Sklarz suggested the council should consider taking some action.

“They’re up and down my street all the time,” said Councilwoman Patty Sofokles who fears there could be a tragic accident one day.

Councilwoman Karen Meija suggested the city look at what other municipalities are doing about off-road vehicles and how they regulate their use.
