City Council meetings streamed and in person

Following the rescission of State of Emergency Pandemic Executive Orders, including the suspension of the New York State Open Meetings Law, all City of Newburgh Council Work Session and Regular Council meetings will be held in-person at the Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, 83 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550, unless otherwise noticed.

Immediately following the conclusion of the Council Work Session on Thursday, July 8, 2021, the City Council is expected to convene an executive session to discuss matters pertaining to proposed, pending, or current litigation.

It is expected that the City Council will convene in executive session on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. The executive session is expected to last 1 hour and the regularly scheduled City Council meeting will convene in public session at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 12, 2021.

Members of the public who wish to provide comments regarding the agenda and general matters of City business during the Council meetings must attend in person. Everyone attending Council Work Sessions and Regular Council meetings is required to wear a face mask at all times while inside City Hall and the Council Chambers.

A live-stream of the Work Session and the Regular meeting will also be made available to the public via the City’s Facebook as well as recorded.
