Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean’s List.

Amanda Fassbender of New Windsor, achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the Spring 2021 semester, earning a spot on the Provost’s List at Hofstra University.

Davonte Davis of Newburgh, NY graduated from Buffalo State with a BS in Business Administration in spring 2021 from Buffalo State College.

Lauren Schwarzbeck of Newburgh as named to the Cazenovia College Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester. Those named to the Dean’s List have achieved a 3.5 or better grade point average.

Osvaldo Alvarado of Newburgh, has been named to Adelphi University’s Spring 2021 Dean’s List.
Alvarado was among a select group of outstanding students recognized by Adelphi’s deans of Arts and Sciences, Education and Health Science, Business, Nursing and Public Health, Social Work and Psychology for superior academic performance. The list comprises full-time students-registered for 12 or more credits-who have completed at least nine graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester. This recognition becomes part of the student’s academic record and is entered into the individual’s transcript.

Edward Kellenbenz of Newburgh has been named to the Dean’s Lists at Berkeley College for the winter 2021 semester. 

Newburgh resident and recent Hamilton College geosciences graduate Juanita Gordon presented her senior thesis work as an ePoster at the Geological Society of America Northeastern Online Section Meeting. Her poster was in the Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, and Paleontology Session. Hamilton Professor of Geosciences Cynthia Domack was a co-author. Gordon’s project was creating a guidebook for the geology of the Caribbean island of St. Kitts (carbonate grains of biological origin in the beach sands).
Gordon has accepted an AmeriCorps internship in New Orleans for a program focused on STEM with under-represented youth.

Tufts University recently announced the dean’s list for the Spring 2021 semester.
Among students earning dean’s list honors is Jacob Dreyer of Newburgh, class of 2021.

Rochester Institute of Technology conferred more than 4,000 degrees at all of its campuses in the 2020-2021 academic year. Due to New York state COVID-19 occupancy restrictions, commencement was celebrated May 14-15 in smaller ceremonies by college and were live-streamed for graduates’ family and friends.

Ian Crisostomo of New Windsor received an AAS in architectural and civil drafting technology.

Kevin Jacob of New Windsor received a BS in biochemistry.

Brendan Wing of New Windsor received a BS in electrical engineering.

Suzanna M. O’Dell of Newburgh, earned their Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from SUNY Canton. O’Dell was among the graduates recognized as part of the class of 2021.

A year after surpassing 200 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athletes for the first time, Kutztown University student-athletes produced their most impressive academic performance yet in 2020-21. The Golden Bears obliterated their former record of 206 honorees with 252 this year, helping the PSAC establish a new conference-record with 4,162 scholar-athletes, including Tyler Serafini of Newburgh.

Over 500 students graduated from SUNY Delhi in the Spring of 2021. Commencement was held virtually on May 15, 2021 where certificates, associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees were conferred upon the classes of Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.

SUNY Delhi’s hands-on approach to teaching and learning includes over 60 academic programs in specialized areas, including applied technologies, nursing, veterinary sciences, applied sciences, business, hospitality, and liberal arts and sciences. SUNY Delhi offers certificates, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, as well as master’s degrees in a combination of on-campus and online settings.
